This beautiful young lady was so easy to photograph! Not only is she she gorgeous but she just has a natural way in front of a camera. She has an independance about her that I know will serve her well in life. There is also a certain reflectiveness in her nature and that too will benefit her in the years to come. I look forward to finding out what she does with her life. I know it will be something wonderful. Thank you Lisa, for the opportunity to photograph your beautiful daughter!

innocence
This gorgeous little girl was born nine weeks early about ten months ago and she is doing great now! She has the most amazing eyelashes (and eyes) and she just exudes an innocence that only a baby possesses. When her mom told me she loves fountains I was on a mission to find some cool fountains for her to explore. The first image in the slideshow is one of my favorite images I've ever taken. Thanks so much Brain and Becky for letting me photograph your precious little girl!

family on the farm
I had the opportunity to photograph one of my best friend's entire family at their family farm. Her mom contacted me about doing a large family picture, as they have never had one done before. They have a gorgeous horse farm in Spotsylvania County, and what a perfect backdrop for photography. This is the largest group I've ever photographed and they were wonderful to work with! I tried to get some photos of their individual families as well, which you'll see in the slide show.

hot hot hot!!!
The heat index for the day this session was scheduled was 114 degrees! Even though the session was slightly shorter than usual, this family is so photogenic I think it's hard for them not to take a good picture, despite the heat and humidity! I photographed them last year as well, when their little boy was one, and now this is him a year later. He has his beautiful mommy's eyes!

first miracle
This lovely couple is about to experience their first miracle, and he's due in September! I know they are super excited for his arrival and I have a feeling he's going to be quite the looker judging from his parents. I can't wait to meet and photograph him in two months! Also, I love our little unexpected "belly friend" seen in the last image in the slideshow. :)
